Show & Breeding Stock

Lower Sherwood has been breeding and showing champion llamas for 30 years. We have five generations on the farm and a fine selection of herd sires in both traditional and suri fiber.

Llama Lessons

Lessons are available for those wishing to learn llama basics  and husbandry for ownership as well as preparing for competition.  Students will learn handling, grooming and training techniques.

Competitions are held at the farm in the spring and fall. Students are also invited to attend and compete at shows that we travel to.

Students of all ages are welcome.

We attend the local Farmers' Market in Scottsville where we offer handmade fiber products and yarns throughout the season.  Products include felted organic soaps, cat toys, lead ropes and leashes, yarns and handknit and woven items including hats, mittens, shawls and scarves.

Raw fleeces and roving also available.
